Hello! I am Kristen Strong Albright, and I am thrilled to be a STEM teacher at SCASD. This is my 27th year in public education, and I have taught at all levels from grades K-8. I have also worked as a librarian and technology coach, as well as a gifted support teacher. Teaching is my passion, and I feel that I have the best job in the world.
I live in Howard, PA with my husband and two teenage daughters. We also have two bad dogs that we absolutely dote on and adore. When I am not in school, I love reading, swimming, and spending time outside with my family. We are avid PSU sports fans!
I am a graduate of Penn State University and I did my Master's work at Clarion University. I love all things technology related, including basic computer coding and robotics. I encourage all students to use a growth mindset when approaching problems. Perseverance is an important skill to have! I look forward to working with all of your students.
